Mrs Amber

Dance Instructor 

Mrs. Amber has been a dancer since the age of 7, starting her training in hip hop while her family was stationed in Alaska. After moving to San Antonio, TX a few years later, she proceeded to expand her training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary. 


As a sophomore in High School, she was a title holder soloist for the American Dance and Drill Team Competition as well as Showmakers of America. Her junior year, Mrs. Amber was accepted as a dance major at North East School of the Arts where she trained under Dena Mabry and guest instructors: Chip Abbott, Sarah Jo Fazio, Tyler Hanes, TWITCH, and Allison Holker. 


Mrs. Amber’s senior year of High School, she became a Joci Awards Scholarship Foundation recipient, and auditioned for the Rockette Summer Intensive- winning a spot to further her education in New York City at Rockefeller Center the summer after graduation. 


At 20 years old,  Mrs. Amber became the assistant director for American Dance Company, and later was invited to be a soloist for Company Mayes in Dallas, TX- under the direction of Michael Mayes, a former dancer for Alonzo King Lines.


Mrs. Amber had been enhancing student performance quality and technique through creatively challenging curriculum for studios in the San Antonio area for 10 + years before she got married this past November. Her husband is a K-9 handler in the Navy, and their first PCS move brought them here to Virginia!
